Sam's early life was marked by a sense of adventure and creativity, as he grew up in the picturesque village of Manaton, nestled within the vast expanse of Dartmoor. The absence of a television in his home during the 1970s and 1980s led to a childhood filled with imaginative play, as he and his siblings and friends would spend hours creating characters and acting out scenarios amidst the moors' rugged beauty.
As he grew older, Sam's passion for acting only intensified, and he found himself drawn to the world of performance. School plays and local productions with MED Theatre became a staple of his formative years, providing a platform for him to hone his craft and develop his skills.
Sam's academic pursuits took him to Ashburton comprehensive, where he studied drama alongside his peers. His thirst for knowledge and creativity led him to Exeter college, and eventually, he graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, and Media Arts in 1998.
Throughout his career, Sam has continued to work across a range of mediums, including television, film, and theatre. His work has taken him to London, where he has established himself as a talented and versatile performer. In addition to his professional pursuits, Sam has also been involved in the Third Sector, using his skills to make a positive impact on his community.
