Biography

Salim Grant, the author of the captivating book "Show Biz Kids Quest For Success", is also the proud older brother of the talented actress and singer, Crystal Celeste Grant. From a young age, Salim has been deeply involved in the entertainment industry, showcasing his early talent at just four years old with a commercial appearance on the iconic children's program, Sesame Street, in 1969.

As he grew older, Salim continued to hone his craft, taking to the stage at the tender age of five with the Houston-based children's group, "Too Short for Prime Time", in a series of theatrical productions. His early start in the entertainment industry laid the foundation for a successful career, with guest appearances in various television series, including the popular shows Sister, Sister in 1994 and Family Matters in 1989.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Salim has also ventured into the world of music, where he has been working as a producer for the renowned rap artist, Snoop Dogg. His music career is also gaining momentum, with an international record deal in the works.
