Terry Michael Brunk, professionally known as Sabu, is a retired American professional wrestler renowned for pioneering the style of hardcore wrestling during his tenure with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1995 to 2000.

Under the guidance of his uncle, Ed "The Sheik" Farhat, Brunk began his wrestling career in the North American independent scene in 1985, competing under the name Sabu, before venturing to Japan to compete in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW),where he won several championships, including the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

After returning to the United States in 1995, Brunk briefly worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) before embarking on his most notable stint in ECW, where he swiftly became a prominent figure in the promotion.
