Ryan Sagun, a highly accomplished filmmaker, was chosen to direct his senior capstone project, "A Life With", which garnered a positive response at the prestigious Fall 2023 J-Street Film Festival.
Notably, his short film "100 Dates" was showcased at several prominent film festivals, including the Sacramento International and Chicago Horror festivals.
Ryan Sagun's academic achievements are equally impressive, having earned his Bachelor's degree in Film (Digital Film/Video Production) from Sacramento State University in Spring 2024, graduating at the top of his class.
Prior to his undergraduate studies, he received his Associate's Degree from Diablo Valley College, where he also obtained a Certificate of Accomplishment in Television Arts - Film Production.
During his time at the university, Ryan worked as a Multimedia Intern for Student Affairs, honing his video production skills and developing his photography expertise.
As a filmmaker, Ryan specializes in creative storytelling, with a passion for narrative-driven scriptwriting and directing. He is also skilled in non-linear editing, with extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and pre-production management.
