Director Ryan R. Williams, a renowned filmmaker, won the prestigious 2013 Gold Remi award for his outstanding work on "Nowhere Fast". This esteemed award has been bestowed upon notable directors such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, Ridley Scott, The Coen Brothers, Brian De Palma, and Oliver Stone.
Williams made his feature directorial debut in 2003 with the multiple award-winning feature film "Abby Singer", which boasted impressive appearances by Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Jodie Foster.
His comedy feature, "Chick Magnet", released in 2011, featured an all-star cast including Owen Wilson, Tracy Morgan, Kristen Bell, and Kevin Smith. The film received prime time viewing on the Showtime Network and significant grosses on Time Warner Cable VOD and overseas.
As a multifaceted creative, Williams has also written, produced, and directed national television commercials and music videos that have been aired in over one hundred and fifty markets across the United States and Canada.
Before pursuing a career in filmmaking, Williams' entrepreneurial spirit was evident as a regional radio personality. Prior to that, he honed his comedic skills as a nationally touring stand-up comic, headlining and opening for renowned comedians such as Dave Attell, Carlos Mencia, and Bobcat Goldthwait.
