Larson, one of six children, grew up in a small dairy/farming community in Wisconsin with a population of approximately 800. Her father, a church minister, later joined the Army as a chaplain and relocated his family to various cities, including Mannheim, Germany, where Larson attended all four years of high school.
Having decided as a child to pursue her passion for acting and eager to get started, Larson moved to Los Angeles just three days after her high school graduation to begin her career. To further enhance her already diverse experiences, Larson also attended California State University, Los Angeles, and majored in history.
A graduate of the Professional Actors Conservatory, Larson is a dynamic stage actress whose performance as "Jill" in the Los Angeles stage production of Jack and Jill won the hearts of critics and earned her rave reviews. The L.A. Weekly praised her as "engrossing" and "elegantly satisfying."
Larson has appeared in numerous theatrical productions, including The Cherry Orchard, Prelude to a Kiss, and Ah Wilderness. Most recently, Larson co-wrote, produced, and starred in a short film about the unique craziness that is the Sundance Film Festival.
When not acting, writing, or producing, Larson is an avid marathon runner and an active member of Women In Film, where she serves as the chair of the Beverly Hills Chapter.
