Biography

Ryan Harper Gray is a multifaceted individual who initially gained recognition in the entertainment industry through his acting roles, including a performance opposite Jane Krakowski and Eric Stoltz in the film When Zachary Beaver Came to Town.

Throughout his career, Gray has been actively involved in the art-house scene, creating experimental films and avant-garde theater productions with companies such as Salvage Vanguard and Box Of Madness.

It was during this time that he caught the attention of indie filmmaker Jon Jost, with whom he would go on to collaborate on a directorial and acting capacity for a period of ten years, resulting in the production of five feature films that have received international acclaim.

One of their most notable collaborations is the feature film Homecoming, in which Gray starred as the lead character, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and went on to win awards and receive screenings around the world.

In addition to his work in film, Gray has also appeared in a number of other notable projects, including the sci-fi feature Earthling, which premiered at SXSW, as well as White Creek, Raise a Good Man, and No Way To Live.

Furthermore, Gray has also had roles in the Netflix series The Frontier, starring Jocelin Donahue, Jim Beaver, and Kelly Lynch, which premiered at SXSW, and has been involved in the production of the new series This is a Love Story.

Aside from his work in acting and directing, Gray is also an ongoing producer of the hit live show and podcast Let's Go Atsuko!, which is presented at the historic Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles.
