Ryan's impressive producing and directing credits include the notable documentary "My Beautiful Stutter" (2021),executive produced by Paul Rudd and Mariska Hargitay.
His directing credits are equally impressive, with "The Graduates" (2010) ranking among the top ten comedies of all time on Hulu, and "Turtle Hill, Brooklyn" (2013),a feature film that won the Audience Award for Best Narrative at LGBT NewFest.
In addition to his directing credits, Ryan has also produced several documentaries, including "Bombardier Blood" (2020),executive produced by Alex Borstein, as well as "Deliver Us" and "Poster Child", both set for release in 2024.
As an executive producer, Ryan has worked on the critically acclaimed documentary "sometimes, i think about dying", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019 and was shortlisted for an Academy Award in 2020.
Ryan has also made a name for himself in the digital sphere, winning two WEBBY awards for his interactive web series "Deleted: The Game" in 2010. He is a regular contributor to several prominent film industry blogs, including NoFilmSchool.com, Sundance Film Festival Artist Service's Blog, and Tribeca Film Fest Blog.
Outside of his professional work, Ryan and his brother Matthew co-founded DVD's to the Troops, a charitable organization that collected and shipped an estimated 225,000 used and new DVDs to American military personnel in war zones around the world before its closure in 2021.
