Biography

Ryan Cutrona is a renowned American actor, recognized for his exceptional talent in portraying a wide range of characters, from gruff authority figures to military men, in both dramatic and comedic roles. One of his most notable achievements is sharing two Screen Actors Guild Awards with the Ensemble of Mad Men for his outstanding performance as 'Grandpa Gene', the father of Betty Draper.

Cutrona has also collaborated with Joe Frank on several National Public Radio series, including "Work In Progress", "Somewhere Out There", "In The Dark", and "The Other Side", which won a Peabody Award and was produced at the legendary KCRW.

Throughout his illustrious career, Cutrona has performed at numerous prestigious theater festivals, such as The Theater Of Nations, and on stages in New York City, including the New York TheaterWorkshop, Vineyard Theater, Mark Taper Forum, and Geffen Playhouse. His World Premiere performances of texts by Samuel Beckett, presented at La MaMa ETC and Performance Space New York [PS 122], have received widespread acclaim, with The New York Times praising his work as "...a direct emanation of Beckett's vision".
