Biography

Ry Armstrong's life was marked by an early exposure to the world of music, as they grew up singing with the esteemed Seattle Symphony. This formative experience culminated in their participation in the Grammy-nominated album "The Shoe Bird". Their impressive resume boasts a wide range of theatrical credits, including Off-Broadway productions such as "How the Westons Won", "Pete the Cat", and "Orphans & Outsiders".

Following their involvement in the National Tour of "Teacher from the Black Lagoon", Armstrong released a charity album titled "Crossroads", with proceeds benefiting the worthy organizations Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids. This album, available for purchase or stream through Broadway Records, marked a significant milestone in Armstrong's career. The experience of producing and releasing their own music inspired Armstrong to establish their own record label, Indie Chameleon, through which they would go on to produce and release new, original indie music.

In addition to their work as a singer-songwriter, Armstrong has also made appearances in several notable film and television productions. These include A24's "Uncut Gems", HBO's "The Plot Against America", and most recently, HBO's "The Gilded Age".
