George Russell Reynolds, later known as Russell, was born in Miami, Florida, but his life took a drastic turn just six weeks later when his family relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he spent most of his childhood. As he entered his teenage years, his family made another significant move, this time to Israel, where he completed his high school education. Following his graduation, Russell embarked on a journey of self-discovery, traveling the world on his own as a young adult, and settling in various countries including England, Scotland, Canada, Bermuda, and Thailand before eventually returning to Texas.
As the godson of the renowned MGM musical actor, Howard Keel, Russell was exposed to the world of acting at a young age. However, it wasn't until later in life that he decided to pursue a career in the craft, following in the footsteps of his godfather. In Texas, Russell quickly gained recognition, performing in various forms of media, including theater, independent film, and television, with notable appearances on Prison Break and Lifetime.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Russell continued to build his acting career, working alongside notable actors such as Armand Assante, Billy Zane, George Kennedy, Eric Braeden, and Mike White. He has also appeared on several television shows, including Chuck, CSI Miami, Days of Our Lives, and HBO's Enlightened.
