Russ has had a distinguished career in the performing arts, having taken to the stage at the prestigious Royal National Theatre in London. His extensive experience in film and television has led to notable appearances in productions such as the iconic "Inspector Morse" series. Additionally, he has portrayed significant roles in TV dramas like "Secret State" on Channel 4, where he played the part of Nils Jacobsen, and in the film "He Who Dares: Downing Street Siege", where he took on the pivotal role of the Prime Minister of England.
In his spare time, Russ is an avid motorcyclist and has embarked on several thrilling road trips. One of his most memorable adventures was the Great America Road Trip, which saw him travel an impressive 3000 miles on his Triumph Bonneville through California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.
As a talented musician, Russ is also the lead vocalist and guitarist of The Eclipse Trio, a band that has released five albums to date. These records include "Eclipse" (2003),"The Frailty of Dreams" (2014),"Heads or Hearts" (2015),"Twelve Friends" (2018),and the latest release, "Matchmaker, The Best of The Eclipse Trio", which debuted this year.
