Notably, Rudolf's innovative and groundbreaking film "Indoor Fireworks" was the world's first fully digital film shot using the revolutionary 2K Viper film-stream camera, a technology later adopted by acclaimed director David Fincher.
Rudolf's talent and dedication earned him a nomination as the BBC's best new director, leading him to make his theatrical debut with "Dark Hearts" in 2011. This gripping film, starring X-Men's Lucas Till and Goran Visjnic (ER, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo),premiered on Showtime.
In 2012, Rudolf directed his second feature film, "Where The Road Runs Out," starring Cesar winner Isaach De Bankole and Saturn nominee Juliet Landau. This historic film was the first feature ever to be shot in Equatorial Guinea, and it went on to win the Grand Jury prize at the San Diego International Film Festival, a Black Reel award, and was released on Netflix.
Rudolf's subsequent project, "Apartment 407" (also known as "Selling Isobel"),was a dark thriller based on a true story about sex trafficking. The film, starring Frida Farrel (Contract Killers),Matthew Marsden (Rambo),Alison Stoner (Step Up 3D),and Lew Temple (Walking Dead),won the Best Independent Film award at the 2016 Raindance Film Festival and the Best International film at the European Independent Film Festival.
In 2017, Rudolf directed the supernatural Canadian thriller "Hex," which was filmed in Cambodia and released theatrically in the US and on Amazon Prime.
