Ochandiano's passion for the performing arts led him to receive training in acting, singing, and contemporary dance from various esteemed professors. He further honed his craft by studying acting under the guidance of renowned expert, Juan Carlos Corazza.
In his early twenties, Ochandiano embarked on an enriching experience, spending a year living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During this period, he forged connections with avant-garde creators, exposing himself to new ideas and artistic expressions.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ochandiano has established himself as a celebrated theatre director, as well as a talented, versatile, and meticulous actor. He is known for his discerning approach to selecting roles, often taking on challenging projects that showcase his remarkable range.
Ochandiano has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the world's most acclaimed directors, including Pedro Almodovar, Alejandro G. Iñarritu, Steven Soderbergh, Juan Jose Campanella, and Gabriele Salvatores, among many others.
