Rosalind Cash was a remarkable actress whose illustrious career spanned multiple mediums, including the stage, screen, and television, defying conventions by shunning stereotypical Black roles. Her exceptional talent and dedication earned her an Emmy nomination for her outstanding work on the Public Broadcasting Service production of Go Tell It on the Mountain in 1985.

Throughout her illustrious career, Cash appeared in numerous highly acclaimed television productions, including the esteemed King Lear in 1983 and Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones in 1980. Her impressive repertoire also featured guest appearances on popular television series such as Barney Miller in 1975, Police Story in 1973, Kojak in 1973, The Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1970, China Beach in 1988, Thirtysomething in 1987, Cagney & Lacey in 1981, and Hill Street Blues in 1981.
