Ronan's early life was a dynamic and ever-changing experience, as he constantly moved around the world with his family. Born to an Irish father and a Russian American mother, Ronan's childhood was a fusion of different cultures and nationalities. By the tender age of three, he had already lived in multiple countries, including New York, California, Greece, the Republic of Ireland, and the UK.
Following his parents' divorce when he was just three years old, Ronan relocated to New York with his mother, where he began his elementary school education. During his school holidays, he would often spend time with his father in Ireland, who was determined to keep Ronan connected to his Irish roots. As Ronan entered his early teens, the situation reversed, and he began attending school in Ireland while returning to the USA for his holidays. This unique bi-continental upbringing has granted Ronan a profound understanding of both American and European cultures, which has been instrumental in his professional career.
After completing his secondary education, Ronan was accepted into the acting degree course at the esteemed Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama, where he earned a 2:1 and graduated in 2004. Subsequently, he relocated to London, where he has since maintained a consistent career in the acting world, encompassing a diverse range of mediums, including television, feature films, shorts, voice overs, performance capture, commercials, and both small and large-scale theatre productions.
Throughout his career, Ronan's job has taken him to various parts of the world, and his dual citizenship, bestowed upon him by his mixed parentage, has proven to be one of his greatest assets.
