Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and raised in Reseda, California, Ron Moon led a life that was far from ordinary. Growing up in a vibrant and culturally rich household, mixed with the excitement of life in the sunny San Fernando Valley, Moon developed a strong desire for attention from a young age. This innate craving for the spotlight was evident from an early age, as he began performing in theatre as a child and even wrote, starred in, and directed a D.A.R.E. play in elementary school.
Moon's passion for the centre stage only grew stronger as he entered his school years, and he continued to pursue his love for the arts in classrooms, social groups, and even in the comfort of his own home. It wasn't long before the young thespian began auditioning for roles and studying theatre and film at San Diego State University (SDSU).
However, Ron's thirst for adventure and creative expression soon led him to take a break from his studies and embark on a 7-month backpacking trip across Europe. This life-changing experience allowed him to gain a newfound perspective and clarity on his goals, and upon his return, he was determined to pursue his dreams in the film industry.
It wasn't long before Ron Moon made a name for himself as an award-winning director, bursting onto the independent film scene in 2006 with The Red Hot Interview, a 20-minute comedy produced for under $250.00. Since then, he has gone on to produce a number of films and is now preparing to shoot his first feature film.
