Born and raised in a small town in Ontario, Canada, Rohan Mead developed a passion for acting at a young age. This early interest in performance led him to participate in his high school's drama program, where he honed his skills and nurtured his love for the craft.
After completing his high school education, Mead made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto, a city renowned for its thriving film and television industry. It was here that he enrolled in the Toronto Film School, a prestigious institution that provided him with the ideal environment to refine his acting abilities. During his time at TFS, Mead had the opportunity to work on a variety of short films and plays, allowing him to gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation for his future career.
Mead's determination to succeed in the entertainment industry led him to seek out additional training with several notable instructors and facilities in Toronto. This commitment to his craft ultimately paid off, as he landed his first professional acting role on the hit television series Rookie Blue, which aired on Global and ABC.
Since then, Mead has continued to build an impressive resume, with select television credits including Saving Hope on CTV and Murdoch Mysteries on CBC. His film credits include the independent feature Every Day, directed by Michael Sucsy, as well as the historic feature Stonewall, which was based on true events surrounding the gay rights riots that took place in New York in 1969. Mead had the privilege of working with renowned director Roland Emmerich on this project, an experience that he will undoubtedly cherish for years to come.
Mead's upcoming projects include a recurring role in the NBC Universal/Youtube Red series Impulse, as well as a starring role in the prohibition-era series Damnation for USA Network, opposite Logan Marshall-Green and Killian Scott. In this series, Mead will be playing the character of Sam Riley Jr., a role that promises to be both challenging and rewarding.
In his free time, Mead resides in Toronto, Ontario, where he continues to pursue his passion for acting and remains committed to his craft.
