Robson Golightly Green, a talented individual, was born on December 18, 1964, in Hexham, Northumberland, England, to Robson and Ann Green. He is the eldest of three siblings, with two sisters, Dawn and Joanna, who have been a constant source of support throughout his life.
As he grew older, Robson's passion for the entertainment industry only intensified, and he began his television and film career on the popular show Casualty in 1986, playing the role of hospital porter Jimmy Powell. This marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career, with Robson going on to appear in numerous other productions, including Soldier Soldier in 1991, where he played the character of Fusilier Dave Tucker.
One of Robson's most notable achievements came when he collaborated with his Soldier Soldier co-star Jerome Flynn to release the hit single "Unchained Melody/White Cliffs of Dover," which sold an impressive 1.9 million copies in the UK. This success led to the duo winning Top Album & Top Single at the 1996 Music Week Awards in England. Furthermore, they formed Clapp Trapp Productions and starred in the production "Ain't Misbehavin."
Robson's entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Coastal Productions with his business partner, Sandra Jobling. His nephew, Daymon Britton, is also an actor, and Robson has been a proud supporter of his career.
Robson's introduction to US audiences came when he starred in the Masterpiece presentation of Reckless in 1997. In his free time, he enjoys watching Newcastle United Football team, long-distance running, and indulging in his favorite foods, Italian and Thai cuisine.
