Robin L. Watkins has been professionally acting since 1984, with a wide range of experience on both the West Coast and East Coast, including notable performances in New York and Orlando. Throughout his extensive career, he has appeared in hundreds of stage productions, independent films, industrials, and commercials.
Watkins is perhaps best recognized for his side-splitting portrayal of The General in the Troma film Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead. He has also taken on principal film roles, such as Reverend Billy Oswald in Pretty Dead Things and Moonbeam in Splatter Disco.
Among his favorite stage roles, Watkins has had the opportunity to play a diverse array of characters, including the sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors, the flesh peddler Marcus Lycus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the evil brother Jonathan Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, and his critically acclaimed role in Greater Tuna, where he showcased his impressive range by portraying ten different characters.
In addition to his acting work, Watkins is also the founder and owner of Mysterical Players, where he produces, writes, and directs original comedy mysteries and his anthology series Midnite Stories.
