Roberto D'Antona, a multifaceted Italian actor, director, and comedian, was born in Taranto, Italy, as the youngest of four siblings. His early start in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of eleven, when he took on the lead role in his first short film.
Despite facing personal challenges, including the separation of his parents, Roberto remained determined to pursue his passion for acting. In 2006, he joined a theater company, where he continued to hone his craft.
Roberto's career gained momentum in 2010, when he worked as an assistant production and actor on several prominent music videos. His breakthrough came in 2012, when he starred in the fan film Dylan Dog: Il trillo del diavolo, which earned him the Best Fan Film award at the Cartoomics: Fan Film Festival in Milan.
That same year, Roberto directed and starred in the web series A.Z.A.S: All Zombies Are Stupid, which won five awards at the LA Web Series Fest 2013 in Los Angeles, including Best Director and Best Comedy/Horror Series.
In 2013, Roberto created one of the most acclaimed Italian web series worldwide, Johnny, which earned him the Best Lead Actor and Best Villain awards. This was followed by numerous films and short films, including the award-winning Insane (2015),in which he played the character Condom, a weirdo sado-masochist.
Roberto's performance in Insane earned him four awards of excellence, including Best Supporting Actor at the London Film Awards 2014 and the American Movie Awards 2015.
In 2016, he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the television series The Reaping (2017),playing the main character Sam. The series received widespread acclaim.
Roberto made his theatrical debut in Italy with the thriller movie The Wicked Gift (2017),which he wrote, directed, and starred in. This marked a significant milestone in his career, solidifying his position as a talented and versatile actor, director, and comedian in the Italian entertainment industry.
