Robert Vitelli, a native of North Brunswick, New Jersey, embarked on a formal acting journey immediately after completing high school, enrolling in the prestigious Los Angeles Theater of Arts.
Within a mere three years of commencing his theatrical career, Robert secured the lead role of Captain "Sharky" Kirgo in the science fiction drama "Mars and Beyond" (2000),a production created by the renowned minds behind "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987).
Following his intergalactic escapades, Robert took on the lead role in two romantic comedies, "Lucky Angel" (1996),directed by Peter R.J. Deyell, and "Eating L.A." (1999),directed by the award-winning Steven D. Binder.
Alongside numerous independent film roles, Robert was cast in the hit film "Swingers" (2002) by the makers of the film, and appeared in their highly acclaimed and most recent film "See Jane Run" (2001).
Robert then landed starring roles in two back-to-back action films. The first, "Lessons for an Assassin," saw him play the lead role opposite Shannon Lee, daughter of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, and Michael Dorn, known for his work on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993).
The second film, "The Killing Point" (2002),marked Robert's directorial debut, and he co-starred alongside Kelly Packard.
Most recently, Robert filmed a Television Special, "The Magic of Vitelli," in 2009.
