New Zealand-born professional wrestler, renowned for his illustrious career as a tag team specialist, initially making a name for himself as a member of the Sheepherders in prominent wrestling promotions such as Mid-South Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida, and others, before transitioning to the iconic duo Bushwhackers in the WWE.
His wrestling journey began in his native New Zealand in 1964, where he eventually formed a formidable partnership with Luke Williams, also known as Brian Wickens, in 1965. This dynamic duo went on to compete in various notable promotions across the globe, including Stampede Wrestling, WWC (World Wrestling Council) in Puerto Rico, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Continental Wrestling Association (Memphis),numerous NWA territories, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and many others.
Over the years, they established themselves as violent foreign heels, engaging in numerous bloody brawls and leaving a lasting impact on the wrestling world. Their impressive career eventually led them to the WWE in late 1988, marking a significant turning point as they transitioned to face characters for the first time.
Throughout their WWE tenure, which spanned from 1988 to 1996, they achieved numerous accolades, including being 2x Stampede Wrestling International Tag Team Champions, 3X NWA PNW (Pacific Northwest) Tag Team Champions, 1x NWA Florida Tag Team Champions, 2x WWC World Tag Team Champions, and 2x UWF World Tag Team Champions.
