Robert Hartley, a talented individual from West Yorkshire, England, embarked on a journey that would shape his future. Following his departure from High School, he pursued a two-year course at Wakefield College, earning a Btec National Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) and laying the foundation for his passion.
Subsequently, Robert made the bold decision to relocate to New Zealand, where he enrolled in Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. He diligently worked towards a Bachelor in Performing Arts (Acting),which he successfully completed in late 2010.
However, Robert's academic pursuits did not come to a halt there. In 2017, he returned to university to explore a new field, Science, temporarily setting aside his acting ambitions. It was during this period that he stumbled upon the captivating world of Tabletop Roleplaying games, specifically Dungeons & Dragons. His fascination with the game grew exponentially, and he became deeply invested in its intricacies.
As he continued his Bachelor of Science at the University of Auckland, Robert's love for D&D only intensified. By the time he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics) in 2020, he had been introduced to the esteemed New Zealand comedy group, Viva La Dirt League, and began hosting D&D games for their content.
The remarkable success of this series enabled Robert to dedicate himself full-time to his craft, as well as pursue a career in streaming on Twitch and creating content for YouTube. Since then, he has been thriving as a D&D creator in New Zealand, cementing his reputation as a talented and innovative force in the world of Tabletop Roleplaying.
