Robert Gardner, a renowned documentary filmmaker, has been crafting exceptional films for over two decades. His impressive career began with a nomination for the Academy Award for his inaugural film, "The Courage to Care," which premiered in 1985. Since then, Gardner has accumulated an impressive array of accolades, including three National Emmy Awards, four regional Emmys, a prestigious duPont award for excellence in broadcast journalism, honors from the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a dozen specialty awards.
