Robert Fuller, born Leonard Leroy Lee, was an American actor and western film star. He was born on July 29, 1933, in Troy, New York, and raised in Key West, Florida.

Fuller's early life was marked by a love for dance, which led him to open a dance school with his mother in Key West. He later moved to Hollywood and began working as an extra in films, eventually changing his name to Robert Fuller.

Fuller's breakthrough role came in 1956 when he played a union soldier in the film "Friendly Persuasion." He then appeared in a series of small speaking parts before landing his big break in the 1956 film "Teenage Thunder."

In 1959, Fuller landed the role of Jess Harper in the TV series "Laramie," which ran for four years and made him an international star. He then went on to star in the TV series "Wagon Train" and appeared in a number of films, including "Incident at Phantom Hill" and "Return of the Seven."

Fuller's career continued to flourish throughout the 1970s and 1980s, with roles in films such as "The Hard Ride" and TV series such as "Emergency!" He was awarded several honors for his work, including a Golden Boot Award and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In the 1990s and 2000s, Fuller continued to work in film and television, appearing in a number of westerns and dramas. He was also involved in various western festivals and events, where he would often meet with fans and share stories about his career.
