Biography

Rob Davis is a renowned documentary filmmaker, commercials director, and co-owner of the factual television company Double Act. Over the past twenty years, he has directed and executive produced high-profile factual television programs for major broadcasters worldwide, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky, NBC, Netflix, Discovery, Disney+, National Geographic, and Animal Planet.

Rob has earned a reputation for creating films with visual flair, humor, strong characters, and compelling narratives. In addition to his documentary work, he has also directed commercial campaigns for prominent brands such as Ford, Mastercard, Nokia, and Colgate Palmolive.

At the age of 25, Rob won his first award for a powerful documentary titled "My Baby Or My Life," which aired on Channel 4 and received a Royal Television Society Award. The following year, he won an Emmy as Associate Producer for NBC's epic drama-documentary history series "Lost Civilizations." By the time he was 26, Rob had become one of the youngest directors to work on the BBC's flagship documentary series "Modern Times."
