Rob was born on a cold and blistery day in 1977, a time when the Philadelphia Eagles had recently defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a thrilling match.
From a young age, Rob had a flair for entertaining people and spinning engaging yarns. His teachers discovered this talent early on, as he would often concoct outlandish tales of lost homework and fiery oratory skills.
However, it was films that truly captured Rob's imagination. As a teenager, he and his friends would collaborate on short movie projects, nurturing their creative skills and building a passion that would only continue to grow.
After graduating from the prestigious Art Institute of Philadelphia, Rob embarked on a journey to hone his craft, eventually landing his first film as a director. Through this experience, he learned valuable lessons about film finance, character development, and storytelling.
Rob's next venture was The Potchki Chronicles, a feature film he co-created with his oldest friend, Eric Horowitz. The movie received rave reviews from the Shriners in the Mufreesboro chapter, solidifying its status as an instant hit.
In 2000, Rob made the bold move to Los Angeles, seeking to propel his career to new heights. Since relocating to LA, he has worked on numerous television shows, penned over a dozen screenplays, and collaborated with his close friend and fellow writer, Michael A. Weiss.
When Rob is not busy writing or working on his latest projects, he can often be found playing softball in Encino and Studio City, indulging in his love of the game and the great outdoors.
