Biography

Rob Savage is a celebrated writer/director, having earned numerous accolades throughout his career. In 2013, he was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow, a distinction reserved for exceptional talent in the industry. His impressive body of work spans a range of mediums, including shorts, features, and commercials.

At the tender age of 18, Savage wrote, directed, shot, co-produced, and edited the micro-budget feature film Strings, a remarkable achievement that showcased his versatility and talent. The film has been screened at numerous prestigious international festivals, including the Raindance Film Festival for its UK premiere and the Rome Film Festival for its European debut. Notably, Strings has been acquired by Vertigo Films for release, and it has recently won a British Independent Film Award, a distinction previously bestowed upon acclaimed director Ben Wheatley, whose debut feature Down Terrace received the same honor three years prior.
