Rob Loos is the President of zing productions inc., a Hollywood-based television and film production company that only takes on projects that have a unique spark, or "zing". Loos is a multi-talented individual who writes, produces, and directs with boundless energy, humor, and focus.
Loos has an unrelenting passion to see projects come to life, and zing productions inc. gives him the freedom to collaborate with other talented individuals, companies, studios, and distributors to create and shape exceptional content across a wide range of formats, including feature films, TV series, animation, reality shows, webisodes, and stage plays. Loos thrives in an environment where creativity knows no bounds and every day is filled with excitement and challenge.
Prior to founding zing productions inc., Loos was a partner at TLC Entertainment, an independent production and distribution company based at CBS Studio Center. During his tenure, Loos and his business partner, George Taweel, won an impressive 113 awards for creative excellence, produced over 70 Gold and Platinum selling DVDs/videos, and created over 200 hours of programming.
Loos began his career as a Development Exec, where he played a crucial role in packaging, selling, and overseeing 15 specials, 6 series, 3 pilots, and 2 movies.
Throughout his career, Loos has received numerous accolades and honors. He was named a Screenwriter in Residence at the New Harmony Project in 2008, selected for The Writers' Gathering: Jerusalem in 2007, and awarded a Knight Fellowship by Western Reserve Academy, his alma mater, in 2001.
A proud alumnus of the Radio/TV/Film program at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, Loos is also an avid tennis player who enjoys staying active and competitive in his free time.
