Rob Benedict is a multifaceted actor with a diverse range of roles in television and film, including notable performances in "Supernatural", "The Boys", "Felicity", and the movie "Waiting...".
Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Benedict pursued higher education at Northwestern University, where he earned a degree. Following his graduation, his passion for theater led him to perform in regional theaters across the country, including a critically acclaimed one-man show based on the life of James Dean.
In Los Angeles, Benedict began to explore his comedic side, performing in improv and sketch comedy shows, as well as stand-up comedy. This experience ultimately led to a series of guest star roles in television, and he was subsequently cast as Richard Coad in "Felicity", a show that ran for four years on the WB.
Throughout his 25+ year career, Benedict has acted in over 80 episodes of television and film, solidifying his position as a versatile and talented actor.
In addition to his acting credits, Benedict has also ventured into writing, penning the short film Lifetripper, The Hangover 2 "Unauthorized" Documentary, and the film "The Sidekick", which starred Jordan Peele, Lizzy Caplan, Ike Barinholtz, Ron Livingston, and Jason Ritter. Furthermore, he wrote, produced, and starred in the 10-episode Lionsgate series Kings of Con.
When he's not acting, Benedict is the lead vocalist of the indie rock band Louden Swain, whose 10th record, "Feelings and Such", was released in 2023.
