Following the release of their single Just Go in March 2013, Riko took a hiatus from the group's activities. In May 2014, DR announced that she had left the group, only to retract the statement later, apologizing for any confusion caused.
In a subsequent statement, DR Music revealed that Riko had decided to leave the group due to her decision to focus on her university studies. She had initially requested a three-year break to complete her degree, but unfortunately, she struggled with her coursework, requiring an additional year of absence. Despite her efforts to make up for lost time, the company ultimately decided that it was unfair to continue paying her a normal salary while she was not actively promoting with the group, leading to her departure from RaNia and the agency.
