Rick, a true native of Detroit, embarked on his academic journey by graduating from Southfield Senior High in 1985, marking the beginning of his path to success. He subsequently earned his degree from the prestigious University of Michigan in 1990, further solidifying his foundation for a bright future.
Following his academic endeavors, Rick relocated to the vibrant city of Chicago, where he had the opportunity to hone his craft at several renowned theaters, including the esteemed Chicago Dramatists Workshop, The Goodman Theatre, and the acclaimed Victory Gardens Theater. This experience not only allowed him to refine his skills but also exposed him to a diverse range of artistic expressions.
Rick's family background has undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping his life. His father, a retired executive from the United Auto Workers (UAW),instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the importance of labor unions. On the other hand, his mother, the owner and operator of Studio One, a photography restoration company, has likely inspired his creative side and nurtured his passion for the arts.
Today, Rick resides in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to pursue his artistic passions and make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
