Rick Shattuck's early fascination with entertaining led him to join a local community theater class after high school, where he discovered a deep passion for acting. This newfound enthusiasm prompted him to make a bold decision, opting to prioritize his acting career above all else. Encouraged by his college mentor, Rick auditioned for the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy, securing a spot without his parents' knowledge. With a recommendation in hand, he packed his bags and flew to Los Angeles to pursue his bachelor's degree at the College and Conservatory, a feat he accomplished in just two years.
As Rick navigated the competitive Los Angeles entertainment scene, he seized every opportunity to gain valuable experience, working on film sets and honing his craft. The global pandemic presented a turning point in his life, prompting Rick to reflect on his goals and ambitions. With newfound determination, he joined SAG-AFTRA, secured a manager, and signed with CESD. Rick's aspirations extend beyond acting, as he aims to inspire others while also venturing into producing and creating his own content.
