Richard's journey as a performer began at a remarkably early stage in his life, showcasing his exceptional talent as a lead singer in a rock/blues band concurrent with his academic pursuits in screen writing at the University of Georgia. Notably, during his college years, Richard's passion for acting was already evident, as he appeared in a multitude of commercials, a student TV pilot show, and an independent film, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors. The breakthrough role that catapulted Richard to new heights was his starring part in the Dreamworks' film "Road Trip," masterfully directed by Todd Philips, a pivotal moment that marked a significant turning point in his life, as he began to focus intensely on honing his acting skills and developing his craft.
