With a keen eye for talent, Holmes is currently developing films for esteemed institutions such as the British Film Institute, Film4, and other prominent commercial investors, alongside a roster of notable creatives, including the renowned Roy Williams OBE, Clint Dyer, Gareth Tunley, and Amit Gupta.
Holmes' most recent endeavour, The Ritual, was produced in collaboration with eOne and subsequently sold globally to Netflix, cementing his reputation as a shrewd and astute producer. Prior to this, he spent three formative years managing production funding for Creative England, where he played a pivotal role in backing a total of fourteen fiction features, including the widely acclaimed and multi-award-winning 45 Years, God's Own Country, Calibre, and Jawbone.
Throughout his illustrious career, Holmes has been involved in the production of a diverse range of films, including Resistance, starring the talented Andrea Riseborough, Eden Lake, featuring the acclaimed Michael Fassbender, and the worldwide sleeper hit Waking Ned. As a co-founder of the influential trade body, The New Producer's Alliance, Holmes has also served as the Vice-Chairman for Film at PACT, the UK's Producers Alliance for Cinema and TV, for a period of three years.
