Biography

Richard Hoffman, a talented individual of Latvian and Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, hails from Beverly, Massachusetts. His educational background is quite impressive, having studied filmmaking and acting at Boston College, The University of New South Wales, and The National Institute Of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia.

During his time at NIDA, Richard had the opportunity to join a semester study abroad program alongside fellow acting students Sarah Snook, Alex Russell, Miranda Tapsell, and Augusta Miller.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, Richard has had a successful career in the entertainment industry. In 2014, he was cast in The Penis Chronicles, a play directed by Randal Kleiser, at the Coast Playhouse.

In 2020, Richard took the initiative to found his own production company, Hoffman Studios Canteen. Moreover, in 2024, he wrote and starred in the short film "Only The Days", an homage to 1940s noir films, directed by Dianne Durazo at The Pasadena Media Center.
