Richard Hatch, a man of remarkable intellect, holds two graduate degrees in Physics from the prestigious Yale University. However, it seems that his true aptitude lies not in the realm of scientific discovery, but rather in the art of defying the laws of nature. This peculiar fascination with magic began in his childhood, and was subsequently nurtured by his encounter with the renowned German magician, Fredo Raxon, in 1970. The experience had a profound impact on Hatch, cementing his lifelong passion for the craft.
As a full-time professional "deceptionist" since 1983, Hatch has honed his skills to an exceptional level. In 1985, he relocated to Houston, Texas, alongside his wife, the talented violinist Rosemary Kimura, shortly after claiming the top prize at the annual New England Close Up Magic Competition in Worcester, Massachusetts. For several years, he entertained the patrons of Houston's Magic Island Nightclub as one of its resident magicians, before dedicating himself exclusively to private and corporate events. Today, Hatch travels the world, catering to the entertainment needs of his discerning clients.
