Biography

Richard is a veteran of Film and Television with an incredibly diverse body of work, spanning multiple genres and platforms.

His career began with a series of cult, genre, and family films, including the Quentin Tarantino favorite "Vice Girls," the Genesis Award-winning "The Bike Squad," and the groundbreaking "Call of the Wild 3D."

The critically acclaimed "InSight" was theatrically released, earning praise from Yahoo Movies, which called it "Well Directed and Acted From Start to Finish." The feature, starring Natalie Zea, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Christopher Lloyd, was later picked up by A&E Networks for its World Television Premiere.

Subsequently, Richard directed and produced seven consecutive feature films that were picked up by A&E, including "Imaginary Friend," "In The Dark," "The Good Mother," "Non-Stop," "The Wrong Woman," "Expecting Amish," and "Mommy I Didn't Do It." These films starred a range of talented actors, including Ethan Embry, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Schul, Paul Sorvino, Elisabeth Rohm, Sam Page, Shannon Elizabeth, Helen Slater, Jean Louisa Kelly, Patrick Fabian, Beverly D' Angelo, Lacey Chabert, Drew Seeley, Will Kemp, Veronica Cartwright, Danica McKellar, Jonathan Bennett, Dina Meyer, Jim O'Heir, A J Michalka, Alyson Stoner, Jean Luc Bilodeau, Jesse McCartney, Nathan Parsons, Stephen Lang, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jackson Rathbone, and Ellen Holman.

Richard's western, "Justice," starring Nathan Parsons, Stephen Lang, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jackson Rathbone, and Ellen Holman, was picked up by Universal for theatrical and then digital release.

He has also directed two films for The Hallmark Channel, "A Gingerbread Romance," starring Tia Mowry and Duane Henry, and "A Feeling of Home," starring Nathan Parsons, Jonna Walsh, and Robbie Benson.

In addition to his work in film, Richard was recently nominated (2020) for an Emmy as a Producer on the popular Amazon Series "The Bay."

Furthermore, Richard was a producer on both Steve Boyum's Fox feature "Supercross" and the 2010 Toronto Discovery Award Winner "Beautiful Boy," which starred Michael Sheen and Maria Bello.

A graduate of USC, Richard lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
