Person biography:

Richard Davies was born Dennis Wilfred Davies on January 25, 1926, in Dowlais, Wales. He began acting at school and later joined a touring theatre company. He made his West End debut in 1947 and spent the 1951-52 season touring Europe and South Africa with the Old Vic.
