Richard has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of esteemed networks, including HBO, Bravo, Discovery, VH1, OWN, TLC, Oxygen, WEtv, and numerous others. His professional journey began as an actor, swiftly transitioning to working behind the camera, initially with acting and producing credits for the short film Solace.
Subsequently, he took on the role of Casting Director with Pilgrim Films and Discovery, working on the acclaimed series Guilty or Innocent. Additionally, he has extensive experience as an Executive Producer, with notable credits including the popular reality show Tori & Dean.
Born in the picturesque town of Tupper Lake, situated in the heart of upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains, Richard's early life was marked by a strong foundation in the performing arts. He pursued his passion for theatre at SUNY New Paltz, where he earned a degree in Theatre.
Following his academic pursuits, Richard spent a year honing his craft at Middlesex University in London, further refining his skills in the art of acting. He later relocated to New York City, where he spent 12 years immersed in the city's vibrant theatre and entertainment scene.
During his time in NYC, Richard had the opportunity to study acting under the guidance of renowned acting coach Bill Esper. In 2001, he made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he has since continued to build a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Throughout his professional journey, Richard has maintained dual citizenship, proudly holding both American and Canadian passports.
