Rich Christiano was born on October 2, 1956, in Waterloo, New York, where he spent his formative years. He later relocated to Rochester, New York, to attend St. John Fisher College, graduating in 1978.
As a young adult, Rich Christiano underwent a transformative experience, embracing Christianity at the age of 23 in 1980 while residing in North Hollywood, California.
Rich Christiano's passion for filmmaking emerged in 1985, when he collaborated with his twin brother, Dave, to produce a short Christian movie titled "The Daylight Zone." The brothers' creative partnership flourished, yielding three films before they eventually established separate production companies, while continuing to consult with each other on various projects.
Throughout his career, Rich Christiano has demonstrated his versatility as a filmmaker, producing, writing, and directing numerous feature films, including "Time Changer," "Unidentified," "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry," "A Matter of Faith," and "Play the Flute."
