Ria Jones, an internationally renowned West End star, returns to her roots in Wales, bringing with her a three-piece live band to create an intimate evening of jazz, blues, and musical theatre songs.
Her musical memoirs and songs from her soon-to-be-released solo album "Have You Met Miss Jones" will be woven together, showcasing her beautiful, alluring, and distinctively powerful voice, alongside her elegant and inimitable stage presence.
Born and raised in Swansea, Wales, Ria was surrounded by the rich heritage of Welsh music from a young age. Her mother was an opera singer, and her father a successful cabaret entertainer, making it inevitable that Ria would follow in their footsteps.
Ria's career has spanned numerous leading roles in West End musicals, performances in concert halls worldwide, and appearances on three Royal Variety Shows. She has also sung by royal request at Buckingham Palace and has performed as a soloist in many of the world's finest venues.
With a repertoire that includes roles such as Grizabella in "Cats," Fantine in "Les Misérables," and Reno Sweeney in "Anything Goes," Ria has established herself as a talented and versatile performer.
Her television appearances include her own one-off special for BBC Wales, three televised Royal Variety Performances, and roles in dramas such as "When Eric Met Ernie" and "Torchwood."
Ria has performed frequently with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall and has received personal accolades from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. She has shared the stage with a wide range of artists, including Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
