Biography

Coiro embarked on an academic journey at Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater. Simultaneously, he seized the opportunity to broaden his horizons by attending The Moscow Art Theater in Russia, further refining his craft.

Upon completion of his studies, Coiro secured his first professional role as an understudy to three parts in the American premiere of Conor McPherson's off-Broadway play "This Lime Tree Bower", expertly directed by Harris Yulin at Primary Stages.

Within a remarkably short period of just a month following his graduation from CMU, Coiro landed the role of Eddie in the Lincoln Center revival of George S. Kauffman's "Dinner at Eight", directed by the late Gerald Gutierrez.

Subsequently, Coiro relocated to Los Angeles and solidified his reputation as a talented film and television actor. He then made a triumphant return to Lincoln Center in 2023, starring in the highly acclaimed production of "The Coast Starlight", penned by Keith Bunin and directed by Tyne Rafaeli.
