Biography

Reginald Dixon, a renowned radio comedian in Britain during the 1940s and 1950s, was widely recognized for his signature tune "Confidentially", which he had the distinction of penning himself.

Standing tall at a burly height, Dixon was often seen donning a trilby hat, and his catchphrase, "I'm not well, I'm proper poorly", became an iconic part of his comedic persona.

In the 1950s, Dixon took the reins from the legendary film comedian George Formby in the stage musical "Zip Goes A Million" at London's esteemed Palace Theatre.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dixon made several minor film appearances and numerous television guest appearances, solidifying his status as a beloved figure in British entertainment.
