Rebecca Shoichet is a Canadian voice actress who has been active in the industry since the early 2000s. She moved from Victoria to Vancouver in 2000 and began her career by voicing various roles in the English dubs of Japanese anime for Ocean Productions.
Shoichet's early prominent role was voicing Sota Higurashi in the fantasy adventure series "Inuyasha" from 2000 to 2004. She took over the role from Saffron Henderson and has since voiced roles in both original English-language series and dubs.
In addition to her voice acting work, Shoichet has also pursued a career in music. She has been a singer in the Vancouver-based bands "Mimosa", "Side One", and "Soulstream", and has also appeared in theatrical productions with the Vancouver Playhouse.
Shoichet has also worked as an instructor at the voice-over training school "On The Mic Training".
