Rebecca is a multifaceted artist, excelling in various roles within the entertainment industry. Born and raised in the vibrant city of New York, she was surrounded by a diverse cultural background, with parents hailing from Colombia and Germany. This unique upbringing allowed her to grow up speaking German, Spanish, and English, fostering a deep appreciation for languages and cultures.
Rebecca's most notable role to date was her recurring guest star appearance as Tina Swope in seasons six and seven of the critically acclaimed series, Orange Is the New Black. Her impressive performance has garnered significant attention and recognition within the industry.
In addition to her work on Orange Is the New Black, Rebecca has also made a name for herself in the film world. She recently starred in the leading role alongside Chloe Levine in the feature film, Birdsong, which premiered at the prestigious Cinequest festival in March 2025. A highlight of her career was being featured in the groundbreaking film, Shadow Kingdom, directed by the acclaimed Alma Har'el.
Rebecca is also a talented writer, having penned and starred in two short films, Cavity and Woman To Woman. Cavity has received international recognition, winning awards for Best Actress at the Blackbird Film Festival and EHTVF, as well as Best Short Film at EHTVF. In addition to her work in film and television, Rebecca has also acted in her first feature film, Return To Montauk, alongside esteemed actors Stellan Skarsgård and Nina Hoss. The film, directed by Academy Award-winning director Volker Schlöndorff, was released internationally in 2017.
When she's not working, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her beloved dog, Elvis, and indulging in her passions for cooking, activism, and painting. She also treats herself to a date at the Met Opera at least once a year.
