Rebecca Creskoff was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to a family of diverse ancestry. Her father, Howard Creskoff, was a lawyer of Russian Jewish descent, while her mother, Betty Jane Creskoff, was a homemaker of mostly English and German ancestry.
Creskoff's talent was recognized early on, and she was named one of the best performers of 2010 by The New Yorker Magazine. She studied English literature at the University of Pennsylvania and later honed her craft at the prestigious MFA acting training program at New York University, where she was classmates with David Costible, Victor Williams, Sean P. Thomas, Glenn Fleshler, and Aunjanue Ellis.
After graduating, Creskoff began her career in theater, appearing in the long-running Steve Martin play "Picasso At The Lapin Agile" at the Promenade Theater in New York City. She also supported herself by appearing in national commercials for various products.
Creskoff's first television role was as a waitress on Law and Order: SVU, followed by guest appearances on the original Law and Order and numerous other shows, including The West Wing, The Practice, Justified, and Mad Men.
In addition to her television work, Creskoff has appeared in several films, including "Knucklehead" opposite Mark Feuerstein and "Measure for Measure" opposite Marin Hinkle.
Creskoff has also had a successful career in theater, appearing in productions at the Manhattan Theater Club, Lincoln Center, and the Williamstown Theater Festival, among others. Her notable roles include Helena in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Luca in "Arms and the Man" opposite Christopher Evan Welch.
In her personal life, Creskoff is married to Dr. Michael Glassner, whom she met on a blind date arranged by her sister. The couple has three daughters, Sadie Edith, Isla Rose, and Goldie Sy, and four step-children. They divide their time between Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, Longport, New Jersey, and New York City, and have four dogs, two cats, and a fish named Fish.
