Raymond Thiry is a renowned European actor who embarked on his theatrical journey in 1987 with the esteemed theatre group Alex d'Electrique, a renowned ensemble with significant success in both the Netherlands and Germany.
As his career progressed, he made a mark in prime time television series, subsequently taking on the lead role in the art house film Langer Licht by David Lammers in 2006. This noteworthy performance earned him a prestigious Golden Calf Nomination at the Dutch Filmfestival.
In 2009, Raymond Thiry won the esteemed Golden Calf Award for his outstanding work in Winter in Wartime, directed by Martin Koolhoven. This remarkable achievement was followed by another Golden Calf Award in 2015 for his remarkable portrayal in Blood, Sweat & Tears, directed by Diederick Koopal.
