Biography

Ray Baker's life journey began in Omaha, where he first took his first breath, but it wasn't long before he relocated to Colorado, where he spent his formative years. His academic pursuits eventually led him to the University of Denver, where he earned his degree. In 1970, he made the bold decision to trade in the Rocky Mountains for the East Coast, and it was in this new environment that he discovered his passion for acting.

He began his career in the city that never sleeps, Boston, where he honed his skills in improvisational theater. Later, he made his way to the Big Apple, where he spent nearly two decades making a name for himself on the Great White Way. During his time in New York City, he had the privilege of appearing in a wide range of productions, including the critically acclaimed "Crimes of the Heart", the poignant "Is There Life After High School?", and the groundbreaking "Torch Song Trilogy". He also made a significant impact in the world of off-Broadway theater, starring in notable productions such as "The Proposition" and "Character Lines".

After nearly two decades of making his mark on the New York City theater scene, Ray Baker decided to make a change of pace and relocated to Los Angeles in 1989. He has since made a successful transition to the world of film and television, and currently resides in the City of Angels, where he continues to work as an actor.
